With a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges young people face today, we are dedicated to developing programming and curricula that not only address digital literacy but also prioritize mental well-being.
Sam Schatz, MSc
Co-Founder
Sam Schatz is the CEO of BIOHM Health, Former managing director and first employee at AeroFarms. Sam founded social citizen to create an evolving, in-person platform for parents and young people of different ages to build tools to safely and effectively interact with the digital world.
Leora Trub, PhD
Co-Founder
Leora Trub is an associate professor of psychology at Pace University, and a practicing psychologist in New York City. Leora runs the Digital Media and Psychology lab, which explores how technologies affect our conceptions of ourselves and our relationships with others, as well as the underlying psychological and emotional needs they meet.
Emilie K. Clark, LCSW
Co-Founder
Emilie Clark is a New York City based psychotherapist and former social justice educator. Emilie has worked with local and global non-profit and educational organizations to develop interactive curricula for kids of all ages on topics ranging from global citizenship to self-esteem.
