Social Citizen
Providing a real-world counterpart to social media
At Social Citizen, we are committed to designing programs and curricula that help young people thrive in their ever-changing digital worlds. We see social media neither as good or bad, but rather an inevitability filled with potential for both. We aim to help youth understand both the challenges and opportunities of social media, while building their internal tools for self-awareness, self-regulation, and community building - so that they can make safe, meaningful, and thoughtful decisions about how they show up online. Mindful Media
An interactive 9-week program to help kids safely navigate the demands and possibilities of growing up in the digital age. Designed by a team of therapists and researchers, this curriculum equips kids with tools like stress regulation and conflict management that they can apply to their real lives both on the screen and off.
Mindful Minis
A distilled version of our full 9-week curriculum, adapted specifically to meet the needs of youth in your school or community program. These one or two session workshops offer a chance for kids to slow down and think about the risks, challenges, and potential benefits of their digital devices and are tailored to meet the diverse needs of kids at different stages of social media use.
